I finally finished my Rosewater shawl. It hasn’t been blocked yet, but I have high hopes that I will be able to share it with everyone by next week. I do love it so: the drop lace pattern is simple and airy and the yarn is just oh-so-squishy.
I didn’t want to start a big project quite so soon after finishing the shawl so I decided to cast on for a pair of fingerless gloves. The pattern is called Welted Fingerless Gloves; it’s designed by one of my local yarn stores and I’m using a lovely alpaca yarn by Berocco. I hope to finish the second glove in a the next day or two and then cast on for a slightly larger project, like a sweater for one of the kids. Gabe has been asking for more socks, so I may be forced to stop by the yarn store and surround myself in gorgeous yarn in search of the perfect skein(s). The sacrifices I make for that man.
Happy Wednesday, friends.
Such beautiful mittens!
Thank you, Violet!
So pretty, and those rosemary sprigs! Purple and green go so well together. 🙂
I completely agree. Perhaps I’ll have to do some purple and green color work in similar tones. Won’t that look nice?
