Here it is: my finished Milo. I am so pleased with how it turned out. Despite the fact that I intended to knit the newborn size, the vest turned out to match the measurements of the 0-3 month size perfectly. I didn’t even have to block it. I’m actually okay with this; the only reason I didn’t try to knit the 0-3 month size originally is because I thought I wouldn’t have enough yarn. Go figure. The vest is a lovely celery green color and I chose the owl cable motif that runs down the side. The yarn is Jo Sharp Silkroad DK Tweed and it is incredibly soft and plush.
I cast on for a pair of simple knit two purl two rib socks for Gabe. I’ll post picks as they progress. Happy Wednesday, friends.
I love that pattern and yours turned out perfect! and that yarn…yes! I like the pretty spring flowers to match too 😀
Super duper cute! I lve, of course. Good job mama.
Gorgeous little Milo. This is one of my favorite baby patterns. So cute and comfy too.
The colour is so whimsical. I have the pattern yet to cast on!
Adorable!
This is the cutest little vest ever!!! What a great cable detail on the side!!! Love, love it!!
Bless you sweet Sarah. Just enjoy these last few weeks and conserve energy. I’m forever thinking of things I want to do and share so I totally get that feeling. Maybe when your baby is here you’ll find it easier to catch up during naptimes (ignore all housework!) X
That’s exactly what Gabe told me; he said I can do all my catchup while I’m stuck in bed with the newborn…I’m not sure who he thinks is going to watch the other little monsters, but perhaps I should let him figure out those details on his own? 🙂
