My shawl still isn’t dry so I wasn’t able to post photos today! I promise you will see it soon. I am so happy with it.
Plugging away on My Cup of Tea socks (These. Are. Taking. Forever.) My goal is to finish at least one this weekend. I am trying really hard not to start a new project before then…operative word is “trying.”
Also, thank you to those who notified me via Instagram that my comment section of my last post wasn’t working. I did a few tests and it seems to be working just fine now but if for some reason you are still having difficulties, let me know via Instagram, Facebook or shoot me an email and I will notify WordPress. I’m sorry for the inconvenience. It’s amazing how quickly technology will turn on you and stab you in the back, isn’t it?
I can’t wait to see what everyone is knitting this week! I love Yarn Along Wednesdays!
I can’t wait to see your shawl. I know how frustrating it can be to work on a tedious project and resist the urge to cast on something else!
I just finished the first sock. I plan on knitting a hat before starting the second sock. Seems like a good “in the middle” project.
I am also knitting a pair of socks that is taking FOREVER. Good grief. I do love the color of yours, though.
Thanks, Andrea. The color reminds me of my grandmother. She had a bathroom that was the exact same color pink; even the toilet! I love the socks you have been knitting. I look forward to seeing them done!
Aw it’s hard when a project seems slow and you want to knit something else. I try to be good and promise myself I can cast on something new if I get up to a certain bit in the pattern but often I just end up casting on anyway and leaving the slow project until I’m in the mood for it again.
Your socks look lovely, love the yarn colour
I’m glad others can relate to my predicament! I finished the first sock last night. I’m taking a break in-between socks. I need to rest my fingers. Knitting on size 1 needles is no joke!
Such a beautiful stitch pattern! And I love this yarn!
Thank you, Alina. Slowly but surely, it is coming along.
Thought I would have another go leaving a comment from a different device…maybe it’s me?! I wanted to say I totally think you should cast on another project – I remember the misery of knitting my husband that hat (the one I attempted three times, had four inches of ribbing and was fingering weight – it killed me!) Having one day off to knit the squirrel swatch restored knitters sanity!
Yay! Comment function fixed! And I did cast on another (small) project last night. I need a break before tackling that other sock. The beanie you made was beautiful and I bet your husband loves it. (If he knows what’s good for him.) I can’t stand it when a project just never seems to go right…I still haven’t finished a cabled hat that I started for Sam 3 months ago because of an error I can’t bring myself to fix, knowing how much time it is going to take. Perhaps I’ll get to it before the new baby is born…
If at first you don’t succeed!!…Thank you for fixing the comments function x
